Home

Welcome to our website: sharing our journey to build an ‘outside the box’ log-home.
We want to show our path, and hopefully, slightly guide others to reach their log cabin dreams too!

Details

We started out meeting the exterior to the interior with log walls and ceilings.
There is no ‘dry wall’ in our home, and that is by design.

The materials used are cedar logs, bamboo and tile flooring, with metal stair rails and stainless throughout the kitchen.
We strived to blend the hard-curve of the logs with the pure, simplistic edginess of cold steel.

About

‘Log-Home Meets Stainless Steel’….. odd title, but it fits!
We wanted to build a traditional log-home, but have a contemporary touch throughout the inside.
This is a purposeful mission to blend the talents of both our tastes…. an architect and a fine arts major.

Winter & Summer

Winters can be very ‘white’. The ideal ‘winter playground” for everyone.
At an elevation of 5,000 ft, our log-home is built to withstand a load of over 200 lbs/sq/ft.

Summers are beautiful in Tahoe…. Mild weather, cool breezes, fresh mountain air, and outstanding views!
